Has anyone got any tips on germinating soya beans??

Hi, I've been trying to germinate some Thompson morgan soya beans, and not having too much luck,
So far planted about 15 in 3 batches , and only 3 of them have germinated (1 from first batch, none from 2nd, 2 from last)- and the first one has now died!).
First lot went in without soaking and then in propogator in airing cupboard. 2nd lot soaked overnight then airing cupboard but no propogator, and last lot were soaked overnight, then in propogator but not airing cupboard.
So i cant work out what going wrong as trying all combos!
Anyone had any experiences, tips they can share?
