THE STRANGE WORLD OF GURNEY SLADE starring Anthony Newley, 6 episodes, 1960, by Dick Green & Sid Hills. Does anyone know where I can get video copies or even copies of scripts? Or anything else to do with this nostalgic series (apart from the theme music by Max Harris, which I've got) ?

One episode was screened as part of the TV Heaven strand a few years ago, but I believe presenter Frank Muir said that was the only one available. I think I taped it, but I'd have to have a massive sort out to find it and make a copy.

Thanks johngammon - if you ever come across it I'd be very interested to borrow it - although I did tape one myself about 7 years ago (I remember it was shown on Easter Monday). It featured a scene by the Thames, Pimlico area I think. Is this the one you've got?

I've now managed to get a pirate copy on eBay. It features an introduction by Frank Muir and also an episode of Curry And Chips (Spike Milligan).
