Am I the only person in the world who remembers Mintesers. They were exactly like Maltesers, only with a mint honeycomb centre. I remember buying them in particular in Northern Ireland in the 1960s. Does anyone else remember them?

No, but they sound delish!
I had forgot about them cheesefreak, they were brill, can you remember mint cracknell, they came in a pack of 2?
I well remember Minteasers. These had a packet with a green ribbon on a white background unlike Malteasers which had a red ribbon. I didn't see any of these after I was four years old in 1963.Few people seem to remember them where I live either.

Wow Andrew - you've proved I didn't dream them up. The packaging you describe is exactly as I remember. Maybe we should write to Mars (I think they're the ones who make Maltesers) and beg for them to come back. Isn't it strange that we're the only 3 people in the world who can remember them!! And Molly - yes I remember Mint Cracknells well. Delicious.
I too can remember mintesers. I was on holiday in Cornwall in 1964 and recall bying them there. I don't remember them on sale in the north of England though, perhaps they were a regional trial. I think they would sell well now if Mars were to market them again
A bit late in replying to a thread 16 or so years old, but I remember them. I grew up in Wrexham, so they definitely had them in the shops there.
