Has your plant ever dried out Helen? They really need to be kept moist but not waterlogged. They're also quite short lived plants so if there's anything left of it by now take some cuttings quickly! Wish I'd known this before mine keeled over. Also, the more you touch them to make them droop, the shorter their lifespan.
i've got a part answer but a part question. i've got a sensitive plant and recently i noticed my plant's leaves were drying up. at first i thought it might be just the dying of old foilage but then it started happening all over the plant. i took a look at it this morning and it has spider mites! so sad, because this is the 4th time. none of the other plants in close proximity have gotten them so i wonder is there somethign about the sensitive plant that attracts the little critters? is there any way to prevent them from trying to kill my poor little plant? what suggestions do you have regarding pruning a sensitive plant? it has grown so fast over the past few months that the main stems look very fragile. any other caring techniques or suggestions? thanks!
