adding a friend on beta

when adding a new friend on here has anyone actually done a description of that person that it gives you the option of doing? Ive not, yet, just wondering how it shows itself if you do and can the other person see it? or anyone else for that matter.

I haven't noticed anyones description on any of mine. I don't know where peoples descriptions show up.

Haha, wouldn't it be embarrassing if a description saying "git who get's on me nerves but im too much of a wuss to refuse their invite" actually showed up to that person.

Not that i think that about anyone of course ;-)

tigger, when you click add a friend an the invitation is then sent, a grey box appears where you have the option to add a description of that friend!

Mind you, I was trying to get an invite/message to jno to ask him/her about the microwave inner soles he/she recommended to me - but he/she isn't answering!

Yeah, i've done that but I don't know where it would show up if I was the recipient of a description! (if you get my drift).

lol B00, yeah a little, this pm can be bad news! The worst is when a friendship gets terminated!!!
when this first started, id added spociety, we mailed a couple of times and then i was terminated and i was like WTF???? I didnt dare try and re add in xase i had offened her some how ! lol she re-added me a day or so later so i guess it was a glitch , it also happened with in a pickle! oh and redbel deleted all her friends and that made me paranoid too!

Im off for some prozac!

It happened to me earlier, saw someone online who hasn't posted for a few days, so i PM'd em to ask if they were ok...they logged off! I was thinking..."okkkkkkkkk" :-(

im always using the old version as it soooo slow but occasionally go on the new one to check if i have any msgs. havent checked today incase anybody thinks im ignoring them. lol

lol @ julie, yeah I remember PMing you telling you why Bez had done that, as i was same. You do feel snubbed when a friendship get's terminated dont ya? Or worse, when your invite gets refused! Gawd, how sad do we sound? LOL

I've only been accidentally terminated once by Pickle, bless him. He soon put us all back on again though.

As I say, I've only invited two AB'ers& only one of them hasn't answered, so I'll never know where to buy me inner soles, ha, ha! ;o}

yeah B00, i did see that red had terminated all her pals so it helped, does all make us sound rather sad!!!! lol
