Has anyone tried this fryer, it only takes a very small amount of oil to cook 1 kilo of chips.

I can't find the model number but try going on the site below and click on the right part where it says fryers

It was reviewed on the gadget show last week and got good comments.

My friend has one and finds it best with 1 tbs of melted lard, rather than vegetable oil - she is very pleased with it.
