Oooh, I hope you get an answer.. mint chewing gum does it to me too! :o(
me too - especially Airwaves chewing gum.
I posted a similar question a while ago without a successful answer - antacids make me sneeze (and i guess it is the mint in them too). Obviously there must be a chemical reaction going on but i don't know what it is
All mints make me sneeze and my friends think it's strange as it never happens to them! I am determined to find out why now
I thought it was a new brand of Maltesers. Minty ones.

Mint chewing gum makes me sneeze sometimes, especially if it's quite a strong peppermint taste. It only happens on the first couple of chews when the flavour is strong and I can sometimes feel it travelling up the back of my mouth into my nose. My theory is that this has a mild 'clearing out' effect on the nasal passage so any bogeys up there are disturbed, making you sneeze.
Miss Zippy you say the nices things
extra strong mints always did it for me.

the "sneezing in the sun" thing is a hereditary thing apparently. (i do it, my dad does it, my sister does it). Next time i see them i'll ask about mints too and see if this is hereditary also
