Do you use them? I have to say I don't think that it is great value, and I think I can do better by shopping locally.
My question is; if you weigh the box you are sent, does it compare to the average price you would pay for miscelleneaous fruit and veg of the same weight in your local grocer (organic or not)?
thanks

I used to use them several years ago when they first started out in the London area.At that time they were fairly cheap and when you work and have little time to shop around it was very handy .If my memory serves me correctly they started out just delivering potatoes and eggs and then other veg etc as they became more established .
But I stopped using them when I packed up work and to be frank the quality of the stuff had gone down the pan .
I am lucky now that I can buy at the farm gate if I choose too We have really good local greengrocers and a market with local produce all of which is far cheaper than a box scheme .
Plus they used to send stuff like fennel ! Yuk.Sometimes you would get a load of stuff and only a few spuds .it became a bit like a lucky dip.
So to answer your Q ..I think you can buy cheaply elsewhere and get good if not better quality and get to choose what you want not what they think you want !.

Thanks Shaneystar.
Our delivery day is friday and it's great to come home to find a box of veg waiting for you.
However, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again as I think I will do better just buying locally.
