16 month old grinds teeth

I have a 16 month old little boy who only has 4 teeth his top 2 front and his bottom 2 front teeth... i dont know how to get him to stop, and i am not real sure thats good on his teeth. what do i need to do?

waking hourly had first 2 bottom teeth, top ones teething??

I dont think it actually harms the teeth so best not to worry about it too much. If you ignore it he may stop. There are different reasons why children do this, sometimes its because of teething. I think in older children it can be due to stress. My boy did it a little when he was teething his back teeth but he soon stopped.
