I remember these sweets, they were oval shaped, made of chocolate with little crisp bits in. You bought them by the quarter from the sweetie shop. I haven't thought about them in years then today I NEEDED some, but they have disappeared. Does anybody else remember them?

thank you Your Grace - no luck I'm afraid, but they DO sell Sherbert Fountains.
We sell sherbert fountains in our shop!
Plus they're only 15p, I bet you can't get them for 15p online ;)
Were they flattish? I think I know what you mean and remember them being called chocolate crispits or something? Alas, they are no more as are motto lozenges!

yes they were flat, I have had a real craving for them ever since I thought about them last week, but it seems they have gone forever..........
They were indeed called Crispets and used to be my favourite sweet. I heard from my local sweet shop a few years back that there was one one machine in the UK that made them and it was in desperate need of repair - so they scrapped it :-( The nearest you'll get to them now are chocolate macaroons which are similar but come in bigger chunks.
These were mine and my mums favourite sweets they were absolutely "lush".so does anybody know who made them?
have just ordered crispets yum yum
