Amazing Hot breakfast with GB Airways

I am in shock! This morning my family flew on GB Airways to Gib on Economy Class and they actually got served a hot breakfast of sausage,mushrooms scrambled egg and potatoes just like in the old days, plus 2 rounds of tea/coffee and a round of drinks!
I flew at the same time with BA just 2 weeks ago and got served a bacon roll!
Note that my flight time 2 wks ago was of 2h 5 mins and the Gib flight time is 2h 45 mins.
Why do they sometimes serve breakfast like in the old days? If so what did passengers on Business Class get served on today's flight?
