OK I am a crap cook,
I want to make some choc rice crispy cakes

Can I use milk chocolate instead of dark?

Yes sunflower you can use any chocolate
If you have a microwave you can blast it for a few seconds in that to melt the choc, so much easier than two bowl method.

Be warned that the chocolate in the microwave will retain its shape until you take it out and prod it, then you will notice how melted it has become.
I would personally prefer milk chocolate to dark. Wonder how it would look and taste it you melted milk and white choclate together to use that!
You can use mars bars aswell if you like. Makes them chewy!
or melt marshmallows in too.
Mmmmmm....guess what Im making tomorrow!! lol
