can anybody provide the name of a drinks
manufacturer that makes sasparilla, i have'nt
seen it on sale for years ?
if anybody has a recipe to make it , i would
be very grateful if they would share it
on the answer bank ?

We used to get it in Belfast, it was made by C & C (cantrell & Cochrane, NI).
Hmmmm.........just checked out their web site and there is no mention of it, perhaps I am mistaken. But it definitely did exist, honest!
Grace and Baron do it. They also do brilliant canned pigeon peas.

Do you have any Asian/West Indian grocers near you ?
Last time I drank it was in an old cockney knees up Pie and Mash shop.

If you live in the North West of England you can buy it at Booths supermarkets.
Also avaiiable at the IWM {Imperial War Museum) at Duxford airfield and IWM in London as a retro drink in an old fashioned bottle. Maybe also at the IWM in the North .

you can get sasparilla from maine soft drinks in ballymoney or great northern and yacht ballymoney they do all the old drinks brown lemonade addaboy scotish cola american cola and lots of other ones there pineapple is great they deliver it to our door every week i wouldnt drink anything else
