Mediaeval Banquet

What sort of food would you expect to eat at a Mediaeval themed banquet. And would you be aloud to slap the bottoms of the wenches?

They serve soup which you drink, bread rolls which you pull apart to eat...no butter! Whole chickens which again you pull apart! Basically anything that they grew or bred in those days that dont require cutlery to eat with!!
Ive been to a medieval banquet......amazing night! Didnt think about slapping the bottoms of the wenches though, didnt fancy a slap in the face ;)

been to one as the above answers say- enjoyed it but did have a niggle that the amount and quality of food was pretty poor when compared to the price!! Seems like a good moneyspinner!
