Osprey - we have had it for a long long time here in the USA - it tastes just about like ice cream - sometimes the flavor isn't as intense as it is in ice cream - but not always, depends on the brand. If I served it to you at my home, you probably wouldn't know which one you were eating.
Just stick a couple of tubs in the freezer. Its an old slimming club standby in place of ice cream. Pretty good.
One of the larger chains that sells frozen yogurt here in the U.S. is TCBY (The Worlds Best Yogurt)... there may be a franchise in your area...
As in ice cream there's fat free yogurt (ya'll spell it with an 'h'?) and there's a fuller flavored more fat content that really can't be told from ice cream. As BBW indicates it may not be quite as flavorful but it doesn't seem to melt as fast either...
Tesco used to do this, I know because I used to eat their chocolate one which was delicious until they introduced their "new improved one", which was anything but. They may still do it.
My gaffer works at Co-op,she said they used to sell it,but never took off. I had it in US about 10 yrs since, and,as BBWCHAT says, you can't tell the difference. Surprised it didn't do well here, considering all the pressure to eat healthy
At the moment Tesco are selling Ben and Jerry's frozen yoghurt - two tubs for 5.

I like Frozen yoghurt as a change to ice cream rather than just because it is lower fat, I actually prefer it. I find ice cream to be a bit rich and heavy sometimes.
Oh, and haven't had it for years but Tesco used to do their own brand froxen yoghurt, I believe they did strawberry, chocolate or banoffee - don't know if they still do as this was about 7 years ago, but it was fantastic!
I LOVE frozen yoghurt!!! I've never seen it in the UK but it's quite big in South Africa! Delicious!!!
Try this...

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
1 cup sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen and thawed
1 tablespoon kirsch (optional)

What to Do
In a saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over milk and let stand for 1 minute.

Sprinkle gelatin onto liquid, never the other way round. Always give gelatin a few minutes to swell before heating.

Stir in sugar and set over moderately low heat, stirring, about 2 minutes, until dissolved.

Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and whisk in the yogurt. Fold in the strawberries and kirsch, if using.

Freeze.
