Is it worthwhile to re-use the vinegar from shop-bought pickles and use for home grown onions beetroot etc

I wouldn't have thought there would be enough vinegar left over to make it worthwhile, once you've removed the other contents.
You could make your own. There's any amount of recipies on Google.
I used the remaining vinegar from 2 jars of pickled onions to make a new jar ... delish ....
I use the leftover "pickle juice" in potato salad or macaroni salad or cole slaw - that way you don't have to use as much mayo and it gives it a great taste.
ugh you people make me sick
filthiestfis - you know what makes me sick? People who don't contribute at all - just leave nasty comments for those of us who do. I think they are very immature and have miserable lives - so maybe leaving nasty comments makes them feel a little bit better about themselves in some perverted way. It is just a shame that those of us who try to help and contribute have to be subjected to them.
Hey BBWCHATT- Im entitled to say what I like just like you are. If you dont like it then tough-go shoot yourself- cos I aint going anywhere.
