Carb content of DIAT pils

One often sees the description of a diat pils as "a beer where nearly all the sugar is fermented out, originally brewed for diabetics". However, does anyone know if there is an official definition of Diat pils, especially in terms of maximum carb and sugar content (i.e. grm/100ml)?

According to this site it has 0.75 grams per 100ml carbohydrate and 34.8 calories per 100ml.
5% alcohol volume ..doesn't say anything about the sugar content though.

I don't think they add sugar .Any sugar present is fermented by the yeast and turns into alcohol.

Thank you Shaneystar2. I should have said residual sugar (ie any of the malt sgar not fermented).

My interest in this is owed to Sainsburys changing their Diat Pils recipe. The old one contained 0.57gm/100ml whereas the new one has 1.2gm/100 ml. At this level it is very high compared to other Diat pils, and prompted me to ask if there is an official maximum carb content for a pils to be classed as Diat.
I have just realised that I transalated that wrongly for you !
Saccharide is Kohlenhydrate not carbohydryate.
I have looked through that site and all the Pilsner beers,diat or not say carbohydrate content not known and I can't find anything listing carbohydrate content. German beer used to made to the Reinheitsgebot (purity quality) and could contain nothing more than water barley and hops .This has changed and has been replaced by the Provisional German Beer Law (Vorl�ufiges deutsches Biergesetz), which allows other ingredients prohibited in the Reinheitsgebot, such as wheat malt and cane sugar, but which no longer allows unmalted barley.

Perhaps someone else can help ..but I would get in touch with Sainsburys and ask them why it has changed and what the actual ingredients and quantities are.
They can't very well sell something that diabetics could drink in good faith without listing on the bottle what exactly is in it.
