A friend of mine told me last night that there is a warning on the back of Doritos sold in the US which reads in small lettering a sentence not unlike 'eating too many Doritos may give you anal leakage.' Is there any truth in this whatsoever?

Sorbitol is another product to be wary of. It is a sugar substitute common in sugar free chewing gum, low calorie ice creams and other such foodstuffs - sugar free polo mints for example.

Sorbitol has a definite laxative effect if too much is consumed - the warnings are on the packets;
