things near hammersmith apollo

Hi,

on friday night i am going up to london to see a show at the hammersmith apollo, just wondering whether theres many places to eat around the venue? or whether theres anything to do there if you get up there early,any info would be great

there is hammersmith broadway shopping area/cafes & pubs(tube station in it ) river thames 100 mtrs away-if the weather's nice good for a stroll(couple of pubs at least) king street shops & shopping center (shops & cafes/restuarants)

When I was last there a couple of years ago I wandered passed the Hammersmith Palais and found a lovely Italian restaurant. I'd recommend just wandereing around as there are a few places to eat/drink.

If you fancy trying something a little different than the usual, there's a great Polish restaurant called The Spitfire on the way down the Hammersmith Bridge. If you like proper meat and veg rather than plastic looking dinners this place is wonderful, hearty, healthy and friendly service.
