what are the best crisps?

I can say that my favourite until 2 weeks ago were plain old hula hoops but now......oh my... I defy anyone not to say these are the best crisps they have ever tasted, ready.....TESCO FINEST CREAM CHEESE & PINK PEPPERCORN FLAVOUR (150G BAG) price �1.19. I promise you if you try them you won't be disappointed

Thanks for the recomendation Salamanda... those crisps sound divine and I have earmarked them for my next shop. I am a sucker for crisps and love to try different varieties but I usually try not to keep them in the house because I just gobble them up too quickly but this will be my weekend treat!

i think that my all time favourites have to be.... sea salt and balsamic vinegar kettle chips..or sensations lamb and mint..ooh ooh no, branston pickle and cheese walkers. actually, thinking about it, i do like the new sensations balsamic vinegar and red onion. then again, good old salt and vinegar hula hoops were great. oh, but i do like manly brannigans beef and mustard. yum. it's just struck me - i'm a crisp-a-holic. didn't think i really liked them, but obviously i was wrong!

I love crisps! Salamanda, will try your recommendation, but my faves at the moment are Kettle's parsnip crisps. They are delicious! All Kettle chips flavours are good, but other than that I like Walker's Thai Sweet Chilli and Lamb and Mint, and pickled onion Monster Munch and pickled onion Space Raiders. Favourite flavour of all time is Golden Wonder Worcester Sauce. Brannigan's beef and mustard also excellent. Favourite non-UK crisps are guacamole flavour, got them in the USA! Yum!!!

yes it is!!! im sick of walkers. im sure they not real potatoes!!! (joke) they boring though. these are lovely, they do other flavours in the finest range, but i cant try the others just in case i regret not getting these ones..

I think McCoys flamed grilled steak are one of the best around - might just have to pop to local tesco's to check out your suggestion Salamanda!

OMG Sal! Possibly the worst post I have ever read :( I am now tearing myself in 2 trying not to go and get a bag of crisps. On v strict diet and crisps are my weakness in life but I know that my Walkers Lamb & Mint and McCoys Lamb & Mint are calling me from the kitchen cupboard. No, the call is too strong, I can't fight it, I have to gooooooo.............

Salamanda you are sooooooooo right, the Tesco Cream Cheese and Pink Peppercorn are absolutely divine!! I love them and now might have to go to Tesco at lunch and buy a bag to munch this afternoon! Only thing is, if I buy a bag, I can't then put them away and end up eating them all!!! yumyumyumyumyumyumYUM!!
