does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Good afternoon...it's been a lovely bright & sunny day after a frosty frozen start. Far better than wind and rain.

Well done woofy, a satisfied customer. You've started me off now on a blue denim jacket and...oops!...I seem to have ordered the dress. I've got more clothes now than I've ever had, (and go out less often) but, you know, time's running out and all that. And I'm more into colours and prints than I used to be.

More comfort eating tonight....M&S smoked haddock fishcake 'n chips.
Ibiza now has its first co formed case of corovirus
It's an italian who was first cleared and then found to be ill

I already have a dark blue denim and a pale blue denim jacket like that
At least I can wash them!
I've also made a thai chicken potato and peanut curry, pad thai and rice for dinner

I have got loads of clothes too Robi but after so many years of only seeing carp in my size. I can't resist. Marks had lovely embroidered jeans a few of years ago and I bought just about every variation they had...yes it was impulse buying but nowhere sells them now and I still love them and wear them.

Neti that dinner sounds lovely....yes with very very few exceptions, if I can't machine wash it, i won't buy it
I remember in the 70s when I embroidered my flared denims! I cant find find trousers jeans small enough for my legs
The waist is jo problem but everything apart from leggings go all baggy on my thighs
I hate it!
baggy can be so stylish, neti

Jno ! Be gone!!!
I thought I saw you roaming around Debenhams today Robinia:)
I've got a embroidered blue chambray shirt that's donkeys years old.Must have bought it way back in the 90's.I doubt it fits me now as a shirt buttoned up but would probably fit undone over a T shirt.I'll have to have a look in the dark corners of my wardrobe. They've got some nice things on that site Woofy.
Nice day here, bright and sunny but a bit chilly.
We had what we call the famous hash tonight. It's only famous because I once cooked it for my in laws many years ago and they enjoyed it so much they went home and cooked it and passed the recipe on to friends and family.
Hope you're all ok ,keeping well and have plenty of toilet rolls ;-)
Morning each...all wearing double denim are we?
No news yet today but that's good news so they say...whoever they are.
Yes shaney, I'm well stocked up :)

That's madness. Funnily enough I'd ordered a large pack of loo rolls on offer with my online shop some time before this panic started. The intention was to share them with my sister but now I think she's going to have to earn them.
Grass mowing = one roll
Bedroom painted = two rolls
Sheds sorted and cleared = two rolls
etc
:)
Bought a big pack of loo.rolls today and nothing exciting happened, no fights or pushing and shoving!
It's the day of the sardine here and it stinks as they are cooking lorry loads of them in the main sq!
Sardines ? I'll be there shortly.I love sardines especially when they cook them like they do in your neck of the woods Neti.
We get herring day here. The herrings get blessed at the Minster and they have a herring festival over in Hemsby.
Not a bad day, quite springlike earlier but it's clouded up now.
There seems to plenty of stuff in the shops here. My Tesco order was all there this week.Nothing was out of stock and Mr S goes to the butcher ,baker and candlestick maker in the High St so I doubt we'll starve.
just had lunch with two sisters, one of whom is going home tomorrow, plus jno jnr and bride. Very nice, though why my steak took half an horu longer than everyone else's pasta I don't know. It was a surprise early birthday party and after I'd had gelato for dessert they brought out another one with a candle in it. I am feeling a bit overstuffed.
We call it gelat here in the local lingo, i dont much like it. Oh for a Mr Whippy 99!!
I like gelato and Mr Whippy,in fact any sort of ice cream, but they don't like me:(
My brother rang earlier and said did I mind if he came round tomorrow in view of this virus. He's a worry wort which is understandable at his age with a heart problem, so I said that he could come round but I'll put a chair in the porch for him.I said that he could sit on the chair and I would talk to him through the letterbox. It did take a minute or two for him to realise I was joking.
Nothing doing otherwise.
Hope you're all well.Sleep tight.
Hello buddies how are we all? Yes I live sardines but unfortunately my stomach Recycled them throughout the day!!
Had a lively day yesterday. Went to a little beach called Talamanca where there is a beach bar which is unfortunately very very popular. Cant make bookings but there is a waiting list so we put our names on it. Then we walked the whole length of the beach on a wooden walkway which made it easier and stopped at another.little cafe for a coffee a f the meandered back again. Next on list and we got a super table in the shade right next to the sea. Only ate small things as a big plateful gets left but very delightful. There were fishes swimming and seagulls bobbing and not attacking anyone. Really had a good and relaxing day!
Afternoon squirrels...what are you stashing away today?
I think it would be cheaper to install a bidet than to panic buy 100's of loo rolls. I've always fancied having one but have been laughed at. Who's laughing now? :) :)
