Any ABers bought a chocolate fountain? Any comments please.

I brought one a couple of months ago but haven't used it yet (waiting for christmas with the relatives) as you need around a kilo of chocolate (its cheaper to buy bars of chocolate which you mix with a small quantity of vegetable oil) rather than the special chocolate (which just has a higher oil content).


Got mine in a local kitchen shop for 100quid which didnt seem to bad considering how much it was to rent them....only now i see that firebox.com is selling them at 50quid :(

Thanks for that. Thinking of getting one, but would like to know what others thought about them first.
I got one as an early Christmas pressie - absolutely fab! It was about �50 from Argos, probably smaller than Coobeasties but perfect for a small family. You don't taste the added oil at all, it's easy to use, and it'll be the centre piece at my Boxing Day feast. Fantastic buy.
