I replaced our ancient toastie maker a few years ago and replaced it with a panini press which I use regularly.
Today I’ve had a cheese and onion one, my favourite.
Other half likes him, cheese and chutney.
What’s your favourite Arky?
I still love cheese & ham toasties! I have a toast bag in which I pop my sandwich, then into the toaster.

I'm a Cheese and onion fan myself... keeping it simple.
We had a toasted sandwich maker years ago and I just loved plain old smoked ham and mature cheddar. Or cheese and tomato.......many a time I burnt my tongue on the tomato, lol

... or ham. I sometime add tomato to either making sure there's no juice just the outer parts.
Cheese and onion for me
Bacon and brie for him
Used to love Cheese and bacon but no longer eat bacon.

Actually, I like bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce too although it’s too much of a faff cooking the bacon first so I rarely have one.
Vagus, keep some cooked in the freezer and just defrost in the micro when needed
Chorizo, cheese and sundried tomatoes, or banana

All very good keep 'em coming. I used to slice up a Pepperami and add that to cheese.

I'm doing on-line tesco shop this afternoon so might add somethings, I haven't actually had one for a while.
It's tomato that gets me, arky. No longer add it... it just smacks against your chin, for 3rd degree burns :-)

I use gluten free bread that toasts quite well. Filry boring with my fillings I'm afraid

Strong Cheddar with raw onion served with caramelized onion chutney

Monteray Jack, Brunswick smoked ham and a slick of Dijon mustard

Mine came out of retirement when my George foreman grill gave up the ghost.
I no longer bother with a breville, but just toast the bread in a toaster...
Steak, cheese, onion
Brie and cranberry
Ham and salad
Corned beef, cheese and onion
Cheese and red onion

Then, you can add anything, whether it needs cooking or toasting or not.
