No chance and to be honest , there’s nothing I’ve been short of , maybe birthday cards ,I got some in Wilko but not a great choice and it’s coming up to my ‘busy’ birthday trimester :0/

I'm hoping to go shopping towards the end of the week though. Son needs new clothes as hes grown out of things and hes back to school next week.

The only non-essential shop i'm keen on visiting is the barbers. My hair grows very quickly; i had it cut just a few days before the present lockdown began and it is now on my shoulders (just) How i coped in my pre-army days, i'll never know. Then it was dark, now it's almost white. Not really a good look. Not even for an old rocker like me :-)

I was going to make my usual Monday afternoon excursion to Sainsbury's...but my left knee is playing up. So I may not even go out for a walk.
The shops aren't going anywhere.

Will there be queues though ? Children back at school, people working. I'm definitely going to have a look at my favourite shoe shop as I want some new shoes that only they sell. If I have to queue, so be it.

Not me. I'm not a huge fan of shopping anyway. I'm glad there are plenty who do want to go out and spend, though, the country needs to replenish the coffers.
