Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon album cover.

Put it in the Paper recycling bin.

If it has the plastic disc inside, you can make it into a plant pit.
There's a lot of old ones on ebay between £10 and £20. Better to keep it surely.
depends on condition too. If its been played load's and stored badly since 1973 it might not be worth much if the vinyls scratched
POT duh.
Prices for the original version seem to start from £27 upwards on eBay:

With over 45 million copies sold and one of the best selling albums of all time there must be a lot of them about.
Vinyl isn't nearly as valuable as people seem to imagine, but its value is a direct correlation between its condition and its rarity.

This is one of the biggest selling albums of all time - unless it's in absolute mint condition, you'll be lucky to get a couple of quid for it.

It's an original which my uncle bought when it first came out - says 1973 on the inside cover. I'm not going to get rid of it but just wanted to know the value.
Also, the value will increase slightly if it still has its original posters and their condition.
They all say 1973 - that's the year of its release.
Dark side of the moon has sold 45 million units. So it is unlikely you have a copy of one that is worth anything.
Question Author
Just found the poster inside.

Mr B has a Floyd t shirt like this
That's one of them. The original releases also came with a dark blue poster of the pyramids.

That would've been good to have Jim. Sadly its not inside the cover.
Even if it is a first edition 47 year old copy, they sold millions of them, so it is unlikely to be rare, or worth anything.

I was only aware of PF when they released Another Brick in the Wall. This was when I was a kid. The rest of the albums before that, I started listening to a lot later on in my 20s. My fave is Great Gig in the Sky.
