Hi I saw a really cool site the other day that had slightly transparent colors. It had a dropdown menu, but the colors were slightly transparent so you sould still se the images text etc behind it showing through slightly. DOes anyone know what I need to do to achieve this. I tried to look at their coding but could not really understand it. Thx

Well basically, i would use Macromedia Flash 5 to create this effect. If it isnt Flash effects then it is more likely to be a picture so you would possibly have to design your own transparent pic. Hope this helps.
yeah, with the picture thing, paint shop pro can do transparent layers and stuff. go tinker. buy some html/flash books too.
