I have been in hospital having a 9mm kidney stone broken up.But am finding it very hard to get back to normal, very shakey on my legs,no energy whatever plus can't eat much.I remember many years ago being off colour after having my 3rd child and a friend gave me Yeast-Vite...worked wonders,so am wondering if worth my while trying it. Have finished my antibiotics .What does anyone think?

I dont know if you can still get yeast-vite, but I do know Build up worked wonders for me when I was very poorly. Hope you feel better soon x
Yes its still available and this is what is in it
Caffeine, Nicotinamide, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Dried Yeast (1973), Powdered Clove, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Micro Crystalline Cellulose, Lactose, Dispersed Brown 16658 (E124, E104, E132), Maize Starch, Magnesium Stearate.

Might have been the caffeine that worked wonders but worth giving a go I guess....its on amazon btw

Sorry, did not see the other posts, thank you all and a very good nite to you all.
It might also be worth trying every Jewish mother's panacea for all ills: cream of chicken soup. (I'm assuming that you're not vegetarian, of course).

My own (non-Jewish) mother always reached for a can of it whenever I was recovering from a childhood illness and I still love it (together with some lovely fresh bread, for dunking into it) whenever I'm feeling a bit frail.

Started taking them today...
after three doses(2 every 4 hrs..6 in total),....unbelievable.. feel sooo much better!!!...Really do work!!!
Home-made chicken soup is also known as Jewish penicillin.

My husband did make chicken soup, which was lovely but at the time could not even have one spoon..shame! I am still barely eating but hopefully with the yeast bite will begin to do so.
Not cream of chicken soup, it’s chicken noodle soup

It was homemade, boiled a chicken, removed it and added very fine pasta to it (fideos).I normally love it bu at the time too I'll.Am on the mend now, slowly but surely.
