wrap him up and look after him and talk to him when he's straight, he's your child.
Do you mean alcohol/ drugs ?
Whatever he's on, I'd do as Kval says for tonight.
Not much you can do.

I sat up all night with my son when he got really drunk (he's never done it since) I put him to sleep on his side in the hallway on some towels, threw a blanket over him and watched him from the living room.

One look at him the next morning was enough for me to know he's suffering...

21 dave...
I think nailit has been here before and is wondering if he can or should keep looking after his son.

I hope your boy sees sense in the morning or some time later, nailit. Apologies if I've got this wrong.

You are not wrong Clover....
Is his mother in the picture?
21??? I was expecting you to say he was in his mid teens!
same here, ummmm. He's never touched alcohol again, for 20 years now, but it was a rather worrying night at the time.

Nailit's problem is longer-term: what's to be done with him? I'd keep him in tonight, but is it worth drawing up house rules? You'd have to be prepared to enforce them, which perhaps you'd only want to do if your own life was being messed up as well as his. Do you think it's making your own life intolerable?
He's you're boy - look after him. I am curious where he got the money from to get in a state when you've previously said he won't claim benefits - not having a go, just saying.
Doesn't take much to get trollied on skunk.
Has he 'come round' yet nalit ?
I have a suspicion the dealer he used will be knocking on your door demanding payment soon!
Don't be daft Eddie!! Jeez..
What's daft? nalit's son refuses to work or sign on , he has no money and nalit has to keep both of them out of his benefit money. Drug dealers do not give away dope but they do let people have it on credit They will then collect payment from a relative or friend if the original 'customer' can not pay.
nalit and I have been talking about his problem with his son for a while now.
They don't do try before you buy here - very generous where you are then.
How do you know, Mamya?
