It's true that a 'Chinese' curry is no preparation for a decent 'Indian' curry but I have to admit I get the urge for one every now and again.
Order some starters/accompaniments JJ - they won't be too heavy on your system.
Have you Tilly2?
I agree with Tashi re Chinese curry. I haven't had Chinese curry but I have had Japanese curry. There is no comparison with curries from the Indian subcontinent
Smow, you're awful!! A phal indeed.
Re spice, the menu will usually sort dishes into mild, medium, or hot. If worried stick to tandoori.
Perhaps if Tashi is an expert she may offer JJ some useful advice?
Have only had Chinese Curry once......wasn't quite to my taste but who knows, Conne may like it.....she didn't say.....

Nice to see you have your posting problems sorted, Tashi.....☺
Shoota, I have no idea of jennyjoans likes or dislikes, so why would I?
Should be noted that the cuisine will have been anglicised for the UK palate, as I suspect it wouldn't be so spicy in India.
Don't antagonise Shoota. Don't you live near Feltham where you can eat at Lahori Khari?
I have never had a curry, Chinese, Indian or Vesta.
Question Author
gness did you not have Chinese tonight
I have, Tashi. Twice.

Whilst I was there I had some wonderful food, including some very good fish curries. The only thing I didn't really like was the pond weed soup.
And if you do live in Feltham, you have my sympathy

I did, Conne....but not a curry......we have a new takeaway in town and the food is fantastic.....
Some friends picked up a meal on their way to visit me.....opened a bottle......bliss.....x
Cripes we are globe trotting tonight, India, China now Feltham.
Sorry Sharon lol!

Tony how have you never ever had an Indian??
You obviously missed the last line of JJ's post when you decided to answer then.
It reads. 'Anybody advise. Thanks'
