Thought I'd check before I tried it haha!

Obviously not in the tin but is it safe to microwave it to warm it up, in need of a bit of a hot toddy though minus the alcohol. Got some honey and lime to squeeze in.

Why not just tip it into a saucepan and warm it through that way?
it might foam up a bit as it heats...safer in a saucepan I would have thought.

Looks like a saucepan it is. Not sure if I even have a small saucepan as can't really do much cooking usually but will have a look.

I was hoping for the quick and easy answer :)
I saw the question in latest posts and wondered what nut job wanted to heat up Ginger Beer. It is all making sense now!

Enjoy your drink and I hope that you are feeling bouncy and healthy soon.

Of course,it's safe...it's basically water with a bit of carbon dioxide dissolved in it. Do it on half power for longer if you're still unsure!

Thanks Wolf haha! I have a microwavable cup so would be easier to use that then a bit saucepan. I might give it a go and abort at any sign of trouble!

I half remembered something about not microwaving lemonade as it might explode, whether that is true or not though or an urban legend I'm not sure.

Braved it and it was fine :) It's lovely!!!
^^^ it would explode only if in a sealed container (can or bottle)...not in an open vessel.
