I love french stick loaves of bread. The trouble is they go rock hard by the next day. Whats the best way to keep them fresh?

If I have some left over I wrap it in foil and pop it in the oven the next day for a few minutes. That seems to freshen it up.

I do them on my George Forman and they come out like Paninis. Very nice.

Sorry I don't know what's the best way to store them

it always keeps fresh when i wrap my frenchstick in a clean carrier bag.  Make sure you wrap it well tho'.

Pop them in the oven as valsuey says or we have got one of those racks that sit on top of the toaster and you just lay a chunk on it and warm it through on both sides.Lovely hot with butter!!

thank you one and all, will try that next time!
I find if you wrap it really well in foil, when you come to eat it you will find it has gone a bit soft, you can then crisp it up in the oven.
I sprinkle with a little water and pop in the oven for a few minutes - always works.
You can freeze them. Then sprinkle with a little water and pop in the oven when required - just long enough to warm up
