I'm struggling to be honest. My step father has leukaemia and I'm finding it hard to deal with along with my own mental health issues. I sound selfish I know. Oh well I suppose it's life.

News of someone close to you being ill, there is no right or wrong way to react - it's a very difficult situation

Mamya for me it's even harder because my step dad and me are like chalk and cheese. I've had to try and step up and try and help my mum around the house and deal with everything but sometimes (most of the time if I'm honest) I just give up and squirrel back into my cave.

You can only do your best and your Mum knows of your struggles too,so I am sure she will understand

Sadly life doesn't come with a rule book,do what you can when you can
