It's a drawer that sits on metal rollers. The desk seems to be level yet the drawer slowly opens a couple of inches. It's not eerie, just a bit strange. What could be going on?

Had the same problem with a set of drawers.Finished up having to put a wad of cardboard under front edge which cured the problem

Slightly on the wonk and a bit of vibration from your movement in the room.

I think you may have just discovered gravity sandy!
Or a poltergeist ;-) x
Test if the desk really is level by shoving something in between the base and the floor. (or use a spirit level - pun intended)

I'll have to see if I can film it and then put that on Utube so I can share it here.
Vibration near the desk, just as they found regarding the "Mystery of the revolving ancient artefact" in some museum, was it last year?

For a while I harboured high hopes for the little Egyptian figurine that wanted to go home. Did science really demonstrate that the movement was caused by nothing more than vibration?
Yes they did Sandy, through heavy traffic outside the building and footfall inside....sad it's no longer a mystery isn't it lol.
The desk my be level but the drawer not....but forget that...

Stand a plaster saint on the desk....claim divine intervention...remember weeping Virgin Marys?.....And charge entrance.....☺

I'd not sink to the sin of simony. The faithful could come and view for free.
They could at least bring cake then....☺

Nothing wrong with a few cakes as votive offerings.
It would be much more eerier if it was found that the drawer was stationary and the desk was moving forward.
Is your desk in flump's bedroom, sandy?
Anyone who thinks that a 'Vibrator' is involved, could well be correct.

@sandyRoe...Please say exactly what activities take place on the work surface. Computers/Laptops, along with Radios, Telephones, Recording Devices etc are positive 'Vibrators', along with many mains/battery operated items.

Hans.
I said "much more eerier": that couldn't have been stated much more clumsier, could it?:)

Never mind Stuey, it's not your Native Language after all, is it?
