H, we are looking to travel to dubai 7th october, because this is ramadan time would we not be able to eat and drink during daylight hours ie by the pool etc or in our own hotel? If so what time is sundown at that time of year?

Dont worry, as non muslims you are perfectly ok to eat and drink throught the day. it is only the staff and locals who will be obliged by thier religion to fast.
