Lime Juice Cordial

is bottled lime juice any good for anything? I bought it to drink but found I don't like it much, and am to mean to chuck it if it can be used, would it do the same as lemon juice maybe? thanks,

It's good for adding to gin. A bit old fashioned probably, but delicious all the same.

Make margaritas with it, that's by far the best use. But only if it's roses lime juice...

Is it Rose`s? That is quite sharp but some supermarket own brands ones are much sweeter. I would give Key Lime Pie a go with Rose`s.

Margarita recipe: 3 parts lime juice, 2 parts tequila, 1 part cointreau.

many thanks, I will use it as a cleaning agent then, and I do have some net curtains that could do with brightening up.

Does it contain sugar? I`m not sure I would want to use it as a cleaning agent as it is not pure lime juice.

Lime cordial will not clean anything, its a sugary syrup and you'd need pure lime juice for cleaning or deodorising.

It contains high fructose corn syrup....sugar by any other name. Don't do your net curtains in it, make margaritas instead :)

tezmand, I have never heard that before - doesn't it make it sugary? Neat lime cordial is very sweet on its own.

My Mum always use pure lime juice or lemon juice to wash meat and fish.
