Sailor Jerry's is popular amongst me rum drinking friends.

Has it got to be dark? Golden rum is delicious. Chairman`s Reserve (from St Lucia) or for a bit less money, Mount Gay (from Barbados) are both good.

I never saw dark rum in Jamaica. Locals tend to drink Appletons, which is lighter.
