How do they make this and have the egg the same size including the yolk throughout. or is it just an extremely long egg?????

I read about this in some  mag:What they do is seal the chickens bum for about a month ,And then slowly release the egg which comes out  about  5 metres:simple really(:)
im normally a gullable person but its this true as my boyf likes this kind of meat and when i make his lunch i always wondered how they did this
VINNY is quite right & I bet he'd also love to explain how Scotch Eggs are produced.....
Ah Robinia,Scotch eggs!! Well for a start there are certain breeds of chickens that lay scotch eggs.The main one is the Buckeyed which can lay up to 45 scotch eggs a day:They are fed sausage meat, breadcrumbs a tablespoon of mace, salt and pepper.They come out ready to eat .(:)Sam 88 You can now impress your boyfriend:Robinia perhaps you would explain how Haggis is laid:Robinia is an expert Sam:it was in one of her threads about 6 months ago(:)
Aha, you naughty thing VINNY, trying to catch me out & make me look like a complete fool.  I'm well aware that the haggis is a cute wee creature that roams the highlands of Scotland.  Which reminds me, I must book a place for my short break during the Haggis Hunting season in December.

Just in case this is a serious question. Normal hard boiled eggs are laid end to end within the middle and also within pork pies, the Gala type.

i just want to know where the wasted end bits go??? love the answers though guys and gals keep them coming . i have just posted some new questions would love your  opinion on them:)
No best not VINNY, wouldn't want to encourage a rush on sales...cos then there'll be a shortage.... & there'll be pressure on the lions to produce more poo...& they'll  get angry & start taking immodium as a protest....
h.m.s.redder As I said they use the whole of the egg laid end to end. The end bits as well. Some slices will have only the white of the egg and that's no yolk.
