Do You Make Your Own Beefburgers Or Sausages?

We have a mincing machine and also a sausage-making machine, but must admit, don't get them out much these days.

No, we don't have sausage or burgers very often and when we do we get then from a couple of local butchers.

I do make my own beefburgers have done so for years after eating a shop bought one and being really ill afterwards. I know what goes in mine. I do buy the mince though, usually lean steak mince.

I do make my own burgers but buy chipolatas from my butcher....I don't like sausages.

I can watch my butcher preparing the meat and mincing it in front of me so I know exactly what I am eating.

I don't make sausages but do make my own burgers, lamb usually and everyone loves them, I make minty mayonnaise to go with them. The kids would rather have my chicken burgers than go to KFC!

I had a mincer which I gave to my nan at the weekend. I haven't had a burger in a long time.

I make my own burgers from meat my butcher minces for me.

I'm not a fan of sausages (sorry Fluff!)I buy the spicy Italian ones from my family's deli because they make their own. I use them to make sugo/ragu for pasta and lasagne but I don't end up eating them lol

I used to like mincing the steak and making burgers but as I've got older, I've become lazy. Too much hassle to clean the mincer, now. :o(

Yep, using lovely lean mince and a can of reduced oxtail .

When I used to hold barbecues I used to make my own beefburgers, but not for many a year.

We bought the mincer many years ago, when a butcher friend told us about a mouse that'd gone in the mince.

Soon got fed up of cleaning the damn thing though.

Agreed. Actually though, I don't think I've ever tried it.

He often says he is going to buy some oxtails and make it from scratch. Thankfully, I've always managed to put him off.
