If a recipe calls for low fat natural yoghurt can i replace it with low fat greek yoghurt.

I see no reason why not. Greek yogurt just tends to be thicker as it is strained to remove whey.
I agree with Pasta unless what ever you're making would be affected by the thicker consistency.
