As long as it's not an endangered species, yes.

Catching it might be a bit difficult. I think you can buy it from some places....not morrisons though
I think shark fin may be illegal in UK (and EU), taking the fins threatens endangered species and is also often cruel.

Even if it's an endangered species and the very last one in the world is on your plate, it's not illegal to eat it. (It's only illegal to trade in it).

There are many species of shark. As Dotty's link shows, the spiny dogfish might well be disappearing from the fishmonger's shelves but there are plenty of other types of shark which aren't endangered and which can legally be sold.
