I use Oatley as I can't tolerate too much ordinary milk but only for porridge and as a hot milk drink with honey .
It makes lovely porridge .
I've never used it for cooking otherwise .I did try it in tea but it wasn't nice ...I stick with a tiny splash of skimmed for my cuppa .

thanks shaney, I think it might help my ibs as it has the right sort of fibre, but i am a tea addict and am hoping to find something to replace milk, tried the rice drink but that don't do in tea.
Is soya milk any good to you. Provamel is the brand leader I think but supermarkets have a cheaper option. The unsweetened is best

thanks seadog, I have a friend who uses soya for everything but she says it gives her a lot of wind, and with ibs I get enough of that, maybe if I just use it for tea and oat for other stuff it might be ok.
If its lactose intolerance which with IBS it often is, try lactofree.
