Can stand them at all.

And, what's happened to McVities Digestives? I had some today for the first time in ages and they are nowhere near as good as they used to be. (or is it me?)
We don't eat chips at all these days, unless we go to the chippy for a treat.
I eat them, think there ok. Do you not eat any chips or do you fry and make them from scratch? xx

I don't like chippy chips anymore, Nibble. Find them too greasy.

Kat, I make my own on the rare occasion we have them. Didn't have any fresh oil so sent my son to get oven ones. Never again.

I do like chips from MacDonalds and most other junk food outlets.
I make my own and deep fry them in sunflower oil.. Hubby want have chippy chips, but I like them
Question Author
Chippy chips are okay if eaten as soon as served. If they are wrapped and taken home they go greasy and soggy.

And, what's happened to McVities Digestives

They no longer put a 2 lbs of salt and sugar in them.

Lol...haven't had one of those for years.
Don't bother Ummmm, without the salt and fat they are rubbish :o)
You can't be baking them right. Sure you aren't going to get the crispiness you would with hot oil/fat but they are perfectly ok, and lower in calories.
Question Author
I was baking them right. They have an after taste. Maybe other brands are better. I don't care about calories, OG :-)
Oh Mcdonalds chips are great
Oven chips can't top home made but aunt bessie's are ok.
You try them regularly ? Had a bag not that long ago where a dodgy potato must have been used. Slung the bag and started another.
Question Author
