I am wearing a new dress today. It is a 60's style shift dress, above the knee and I'm wearing it with opaque tights. Just before she went out I asked my daughter if she thought my dress was too short for me. She looked me up and down and then said "You have the legs of a 12 year old girl." I can't work out if this is a compliment or an insult, as she is a typically scathing teenager.

lol no!
In my opinion 12 year old girls have quite shapeless legs with chubby knees. I have no idea if your daughter is of the same opinion though ;)
then it's probably a back handed compliment. xx
You don't say how old your daughter is....I would certainly love to have the legs I had at twelve!!
knobbly knees ?
Definitely a compliment, think what she could have said!
i wouldn't, mine looked like toothpicks.
I think so.....
Better than legs eleven! take it as a compliment probably jealous that you have such good legs.

My daughter is 17 next month.
I'm sure she will turn back into a human being one day
Maybe, when she's 30 (from experience)
don't bank on it.. x

Wish I had 12 year old legs. But I'm not sure mrs-o. MrAsk has legs like Ghandi now he's got older.
At least she gave you a answer and not a grunt
Kevin and Perry have a lot to answer for.
Thing is to have the energy of a 12 year old!
I'd give my left arm to have the legs of a 12 year old!
You wouldn't be able to put your tights on then, sibton.
