Having liver n onions for dinner tonight, do you flour the liver before pan fying it?
I don't usually bother becuase i'm not sure the reason behind it! (always seems to taste ok without the flouring!)

Just wish the rest of my family would it eat! A pack of lambs liver from asda's was less than a pound and would easliy feed a family of four!

Oh well more for me :0)

^ Bacon...I knew I was missing something!
I have flour and mixed herbs on mine. It gives a nice crispy outside. But if you are putting in gravy I see no point whatsoever. Yes, it is ridiculously cheap isn't it???
I always flour it with seasoned flour .Gives a bit of crust and colour to it .
Otherwise it just looks bland .
Love liver . Good for you . .We always have pigs liver though ( soaked in milk before cooking ) fried with onion ,bacon and apple then I make a bit of gravy from the pan juices .
What time do you want me and Mrs Overall to drop by for tonights meal?
It is very cheap....considering the price of lamb itself which I can no longer justify buying
I think they price cap lamb, i love it but the price is to high
