have you received any yet, much too early usually. We have, but all is forgiven as it was from friends in Australia, and it came with a beautiful calendar, and knowing the post system, they probably thought it best to send it now. I was in the process of sending them a letter and a card, so hope it gets there before Christmas.

No,not yet. Usually had one from Post Office by now too. I'm feeling snubbed!
No, not really expecting that many though as I don't send them except to immediate family.
No... and any that arrive before December 1st will be shredded...
^^^ It's funny cause it's true!

well i only accept that this one was from good friends far away, and as has happened in the past, some were posted several weeks before and they didn't get there in time.

However when we were opposite, they still came, around the same time !
"i have a neighbour who has a christmas decoration at her window. now that is sad ! "

Awww, no its not! What's up with trying to brighten up these dull dark days?
boo, i love xmas. in december ! ( 2 weeks before xmas day )
I got my first on Friday - and it's from someone who lives just a few miles away. He's not one to miss the boat! :o)

naomi, indeed, i doubt will get any from family, friends as yet, i hope....
''What's up with trying to brighten up these dull dark days? ''

Our neighbour put a string of Christmas lights in her bush 2 weeks ago. Sadly they are solar powered and as there's been little sun they flicker feebly for about 10 minutes a day before expiring.
did she ?
"Our neighbour put a string of Christmas lights in her bush 2 weeks ago."

Painful!
That bush would be worth seeing
Not if it's long enough to put Xmas lights in.
Question Author
i must admit, that was funny.
Agree with BOO, nothing sad at all about trying to brighten up dark winter evenings. They come down all too soon. Love all the twinkling lights and while I don't put mine up till December, I have nothing against those that do.
