How can I serve up about 80 portions of mashed potato to make them look posh?

As woofgangs suggestion turn them into Duchesse potatoes can be made in advance stuck in the oven to warm through and brown up and easy to serve.

they are good with a little horseradish in them, and then finished as woofgang suggests.

I once had beaten potatoes ? they had been really roughly mashed with skins on and were very rustic and nice.
