Why do people go for fast food such as Macdonalds, Ketucky?

Why when there is other delicious, tasty, healthy alternatives in the same vicinity such as in shopping centres, do people insist on queueing for the usual rubbish? People are so stuck in their ways and won't try anything different.

KFC is rank....Horrible stuff.

Maccy D's is okay now and then. We don't eat burgers at home, even if we have a BBQ, so it's just an occasional treat.

My youngest much prefers Subway....

I've not eaten either, but neither am I a fan of "Spud u Like "or "Subway".

I've yet to find healthy alternatives in shopping centres myself and imagine these choices are treats more than anything else.

With Macdonalds they are addicted to the taste of the high salt and sugar content of the food.

As red fx stated, a treat. My family have balanced meals all the time. However once in a while it is nice to I indulge. Unhealthy? Yes! Tasty? To us, yes. My children? Run approx 20km a week plus other sports so that shud put it into context. Everything in moderation.

I read subways was as bad as maccy D's, I think it was something to do with salt. I have a maccy D or burger king as a treat. Same as a lot of people I imagine.
