I recently bought a Merc C220 CDI SE 2003
On the left of the dash was a mobile phone docking connection but no cradle,so i bought the the cradle to fit my mobile phone Sony Ericsson W810i and everything fits lovely.
I have the tried to connect the mobile to the on board computer following the instruction given.
Firstly my computer either says No Phone or No Remote and my phone doesnt seem to charge when in cradle.
Any Ideas

Do you know if the cradle fitting you have is mercedes fitted ie: was an option on the original spec or was it a retro fit? you do not actually connect via the onboard computer, there will be a control box for the mobile somewhere and this has controls on the sterring wheel, can not really help till I know the above. What ever type it is you will probably have to go to an Auto electrician to get it sorted.
