Hi Janet - Since the Slug and Lettuce was the only thing that came up when I searched, my guess is that they invented it.

Their website just list the ingredients, which are:

Cucumber, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup and mint are muddled, topped with Red Bull and served long over crushed ice.

You could just try various amounts of each - muddle them, top them with Red Bull and give them a try until you duplicate it.

I am sure you already know that sugar syrup is just equal amounts of sugar and water heated until the sugar melts.

Thanks BBWCHATT, I finally got answer from Slug and Lettuce and recipe is as follows:-Ingredients:

125ml Red Bull

1 x lime wedge to squeeze

1 x lime wedge

8 x mint leaves

4 x cucumber slices

10ml sugar syrup (or sugar if you cant get hold of this)

Method

For best results you need to use crushed ice. We have an ice crusher but you can do it a similar way by putting ice in a bag and smacking it with a rolling pin!

Muddle the lime, cucumber and sugar in base of a glass. (To do this just crush everything up with a spoon), gently muddle in the mint, without bruising. Half fill glass with ice leaving spoon in the bottom, pour in can red bull, stir then fill with more ice to the top. Garnish with mint and enjoy!

It really is lovely refreshing drink and well worth trying
