Is it legal for school staff to serve alcohol to 13 - 18 years old in school?

you need a licence to serve alcohol.I can't see any way a council would grant a licence to a school. If you have the licence,then it's illegal to serve alcohol to under18's.
I think alcohol is class as being above 0.5%
Have some happoshu.
You might be able to serve that in schools.

Why would staff want to serve CHILDREN alcohol anyway??
no you need a license to SELL ALCOHOL - NOT PROVIDE IT FREE
it wouldnt be approved as its a school, why on earth would you ask teh question anyway,

Because the headmaster at my children's school does exactly that!
Because of some legal loophole in the law you don't need a licence to serve alcohol in a school but you must still obey the 18 and over rule.
